Holly Meadows School
We are officially a GOOD school!
OFSTED July 2015
One of Norfolks best!
As part of the first day of 2018 Norfolk School Games Winter Finals action, the Sportshall Athletics County Level 3 competitions took place at the UEA Sportspark Norwich. Despite the wintery conditions outside, close to 300 young athletes from Years 3 through to 6 took part in a wide range of Athletics events inside the fantastic facility of the Sportspark & tried to score as many points as possible for their Partnership teams.
Holly Meadows boys Year 5/6 team had qualified to represent their local School Sports Partnership (SSP) by taking part in a prior qualifying competition.
Holly Meadows made a valiant effort narrowly missing out on bronze medal position by 4 points! Our team is still part of the best teams in the county, one of Norfolks best!
Well done boys and huge thanks to the parents for transport to and from the event.
“I have found Holly Meadows staff, across the board, to be kind, caring and incredibly supportive of each child as an individual. It is a fabulous school.”
“Learning about cultural diversity I feel is important and a subject that the school has greatly improved upon. Holding events such as MeadowFest and themed days at school can only encourage this learning and are great ways of giving the children hands on experience of other cultures through cooking and tasting different foods or listening to music and playing different instruments”
Holly Meadows is a successful rural
All-Through Community school with pupils from Reception to Year 6.
Holly Meadows opened in September 2011 as a rural all-through community primary school with pupils from Reception to Year 6. We also welcome children from outside the catchment area if places are available with reference to our admissions policy.
We are part of the Springwood Cluster of ten schools and we are committed to the cluster partnership with Springwood Academy as our cluster High School and Churchill Park as our Cluster Special School. We enjoy a specialist music, sports and drama curriculum provided by sports coaches from both Springwood and King Edward VII High School.
I am very pleased to welcome you to Holly Meadows School. I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher here and hope you will share in the pride felt by all those involved with our school. I have an enthusiastic team of professionals with a huge range of skills and talents and together we provide a broad, balanced, high quality education that will inspire, challenge, encourage, enabling all our pupils to achieve their maximum potential in all areas of the curriculum, ensuring opportunities for all to succeed.
